What happens here
After disconnecting all hoses, you'll need to remove the mounting nut that secures the faucet to the countertop from underneath. The video first attempts to use a new 'Ridgid' brand faucet tool, but it is found to be too short for the specific sink design. The presenter then switches to the original Pfister-provided tool (or a standard basin wrench can be used as an alternative). Insert the tool onto the mounting nut and turn counter-clockwise to loosen it. Continue unscrewing until the nut is completely off. Once the nut is removed, carefully lift the entire old faucet assembly, including its supply lines and sprayer hose, up and out through the countertop hole.
Goal: Unscrew the mounting nut from underneath the sink and remove the old faucet assembly.
