Install Skylift Post and Support Blocking

What happens here

Insert the skylift post (the pipe component) through the newly created opening in the roof decking. It should rest on the roof surface. Take the piece of decking that was just cut out and use a drill with a hole saw attachment to cut a circular hole in its center, sized to fit snugly around the skylift post. Then, install blocking (smaller pieces of wood) around the skylift post from underneath, securing them to the roof decking with an impact driver and appropriate screws. This blocking provides additional support and a surface for the decking. Finally, reinstall the decking piece with the circular hole, fitting it around the skylift post.

Goal: Securely install the skylift post and reinforce the roof opening with blocking.
