Assemble and Install Support Bracket

The presenter clarifies that the installed skylift post functions similarly to a plumbing vent pipe going through a roof. Begin by popping off the protective cap from the top of the skylift post. Then, install the metal support bracket onto the exposed top of the post. Adjust the bracket to its desired orientation and height, and secure it by inserting a bolt through the pre-drilled holes. Use a wrench to firmly tighten this bolt. Following this, carefully lift and install a wooden beam into the now-secured bracket. An alternative style of post and bracket system, designed specifically for beams, is also briefly shown.

Goal: Securely attach the adjustable support bracket to the skylift post and install the structural beam.
