The fence fails in the wrong way. Bending posts and sagging gates are why your fence is failing. Whether your fence is vinyl or wood, start at a corner and drill a hole. If you come across rocks, you will need a jackhammer. Add a wash stone and tamp. When water is poured into both pillars, you will see that the side with the stones lets the water through quickly . Install a vinyl or wooden post. If the post has a gate , it needs to be reinforced. Reinforcing the post prevents the gate from sagging. There is no support there, it is easier for them to sag. Now you can either measure and mark the holes, lay out the picket fence, and mark the spacer. Flatten it at the end, add half an inch. Place it near the pole, mark the end. Dig another corner, measure the posts, and pour the concrete. For a stronger installation, pre-mix the concrete. You want to make sure your hole is dug below the frost line. This hole fixes the post in the concrete so that it does not lift. If I place a pole inside this mold and fill it with clay, fill it with water , mark the height of the soil, and put the pole in the freezer, after one freeze cycle, you'll see that the pole has risen about 1/8 to 1/4 inch. If the ground under the foundation freezes , it can lift this pillar. This is why your pole should be below the frost line. Stretch the rope from corner to corner and mark the outer edge. You can mark the handle for freezing. Install the center post and tie a top knot. Thread the other end through it, throw it over the pole, and use it to pull it over the top. At this end, just clamp it. If your slope has a slope in the middle, you can give it a little slack and measure down from the line so the fence post can follow your slope and adjust the top of the post down until they are both level. Insert the bottom bar, install the pickets, both ends will get a spacer, and this strip will allow you to close any gap. Install the top bar and secure it with the top side. Make a deviation from the rope and fill the hole. If you don't follow the tension line, your fence won't look good. If you don't take the right measurements, you will have huge gaps. So if a piece of wood or a golf ball hits your fence, to patch that hole, all you have to do is remove the top bar. You can try to pick up these protrusions or clamp them on this side. Another method is to take a clamp and attach it to the back side, this will compress the tabs and you will be able to pull this bar out. Now we will simply pull the top bar, remove the broken picket fence, replace the section, and pull it onto your post. We will cut the plank, install the plank under the gate, install the picket fence, and install another frame. We measure the diagonals and install the fasteners . We will attach the gate and install the hinges. If your pole is installed correctly, you will not have any problems with the latch. If the top of the post is allowed to sag, the latch will not align. So, even if your fence gets damaged, it will remain strong. And don't forget, if your fence is on your neighbor's property, you may have to take it down. Thank you for watching.
