Assemble and Install Fence Gate

What happens here

To assemble a fence gate, first cut the gate rails to the correct length. Install the pickets into the gate frame, similar to how fence panels are assembled. Measure the diagonals of the assembled gate frame to ensure it is perfectly square. If the diagonals are not equal, the gate is not square and will not hang correctly. Once square, install fasteners (screws) to secure the gate components. Finally, attach the gate to the reinforced gate posts using hinges. Install the gate latch, ensuring it lines up perfectly, which is only possible if the gate posts have been properly installed and reinforced.
