It’s almost time to frame up a new project, so I’m revisiting some old framing clips! #shorts

What happens here

Similar to the rear wall, cut, assemble, and frame the side wall sections flat on the deck surface. Ensure these walls are framed with appropriate openings for windows or connections to the existing house. Once assembled, carefully tilt these side wall sections into position. Permanently fasten them to the rear wall at the corners, using methods like corner studs or blocking, and secure them to the existing house structure according to local building codes (e.g., with lag screws or structural connectors). Ensure all walls are plumb and properly braced before proceeding.

Goal: Following the rear wall, the side wall sections are built flat on the deck, tilted up, and connected to the previously erected rear wall and the existing house structure. This process completes the main perimeter walls of the addition.
