Install Vertical Wall Posts

What happens here

Using a cordless drill, attach the pre-cut 2x4 vertical posts to the wall studs. Ensure each post is perfectly level and plumb using a spirit level before fully securing it with screws. Place small shims behind the posts if necessary to achieve perfect alignment with the wall. Repeat this process for all vertical posts that will define the width of the bunk bed structure.
