I Built A Gaming Bunk Bed For My Kids

What happens here

Sand and apply a semi-transparent walnut stain to the project paneling that will form the front face of the trundle bed. Repeat this process for the wood pieces that will serve as the treads (walking surfaces) of the integrated staircase. Secure the stained trundle face to the trundle bed frame using wood glue and screws. Slide the completed trundle bed into its designated space under the lower bunk. Finally, install the stained stair treads onto the staircase frame using a nail gun and wood glue, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing steps.

Goal: Stain the trundle's wooden face and the stair treads, then install the trundle and the stained wood accents into the bunk bed structure.

i wish i had somebody who was a kid [Music] all right so for the drawer face here i wanted to simplify it but also make it a little bit of an accent piece so i instead of using plywood i picked up some of this project paneling glued up that they have red prefab at your local hardware store usually between 28 and 30 bucks which is a little pricey but it works out way better than buying a full sheet of plywood for the stain on it this is a semi-transparent uh oak nope walnut that what it is so i'll secure it in place put a couple of knobs and then we'll throw a mattress in there
