I Built A Gaming Bunk Bed For My Kids

What happens here

Using a table saw in the garage, cut sheets of 1/2-inch maple plywood to size. Carefully attach these plywood panels to the exterior and interior surfaces of the bunk bed and staircase frames using a nail gun. This process is called 'sheathing' or 'wrapping' the frame. Pay close attention to fitting pieces around the bed openings and the various steps of the staircase. The plywood creates a solid surface for finishing and adds rigidity to the structure.

Goal: Cut and attach 1/2-inch maple plywood panels to the outside and inside surfaces of the bunk bed and staircase frames, creating a smooth and finished surface.
