HOW TO PAINT CABINETS. Our entire cabinet painting process exposed.
What happens here
Masking is crucial to prevent overspray. The video shows extensive use of plastic sheeting and masking tape to protect surrounding areas. For this small laundry room project involving only three cabinets, the masking was minimal but still important. If spraying a larger area like a full kitchen, a more comprehensive masking and spray booth setup would be used. The fan system with box fans is employed to ensure that overspray and chemical fumes are pushed out of the room, preventing dust settlement on wet paint and maintaining air quality.
Goal: Protect surrounding areas from overspray and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
