How to Build a wood deck & install pavers, porcelain or stone tile over any deck
What happens here
Remove all flexible spacers from between the pavers. Use a leaf blower to thoroughly clean the entire deck surface, ensuring all dirt, dust, and excess debris are removed from the tile surface and joint spaces. It is critical that no excess polymeric sand remains on the surface of the tiles before watering, as it will harden and stick like glue if it gets wet. Sweep and blow any remaining debris off the deck.
Goal: Remove all spacers and clean the deck surface to prepare for polymeric sand application.
Tools and materials
