What happens here

Place the retaining wall block on a stable, level surface. Use a tape measure, such as a Milwaukee 25-foot Autolock tape measure, to determine the exact dimensions for the cut. Typically, for drainage tile cuts, a measurement of around 4.5 inches from the edge is used. Mark the desired cut line using a carpenter's pencil. It's recommended to lightly score the line first, especially if using water with the saw, as water can quickly wash away pencil marks. Score both the top and sides of the block to guide the saw blade.

Goal: Precisely measure and mark the retaining wall blocks to indicate the cut lines. This step is critical for achieving accurate cuts and a proper fit.

on the milwaukee all right get our last bit of drain tile cut in here so we usually go about four and a half inches which is right here that's good then i like to start with the front and what i'll do is i'll go and just like barely score my line here before i turn the water on so you get that water on there and it will wash away your mark really really quick so i like to like i said i just like to put a little barely score along this front face here and then it's easier get a nice straight line on there then it's easier to kind of match the sides up like that but at least it is in my opinion and then if any of you are in the market for a tape measure this milwaukee auto lock is pretty slick just for the fact that it auto locks
