What happens here
After processing, all meat products are moved to the packaging area. Smaller cuts like hamburger patties are loaded onto a thermoform packaging machine. This machine uses a roll of black backing film and a clear top film, pulling a vacuum to remove all air before sealing, which significantly extends shelf life. Larger cuts, such as full racks of ribs, are individually placed into cryovac bags and vacuum-sealed by hand since they do not fit the automated machine. These methods ensure that the meat remains fresh and preserved.
Goal: Package all meat products to maximize shelf life and ensure hygiene.
