So guys, this is Cliff. Cliff's serviced my generator. Uh what does a guy need to do to get his generator ready for the winter? Check the fuel, of course, see if it's still good. Check your oil. Then check see if it cranks up and runs. Okay. >> And then plug something into it to make sure that you're powering up. If you're not, then get it to uh somebody that you know that can service it. We do service generators here. >> Do you think you should do an oil change every year? Annual oil change at least? >> Even if you don't use it. Even if you don't use it because oil breaks down. Okay. And you and your air filter what can happen is on your air filter, the media inside can become basically break down or rotten. Yeah. And then you crank it up suck all your Oh, all that stuff. Yeah, all that foam. Seen it happen and that's a complete head job. And if you got a twin cylinder that's a lot of money. We came in here with a sick Honda generator uh not too long ago and it had a dirt dobber nest. How how frequent does that happen? A dirt dobber nest gets in there? >> Dirt dobbers can get in them things all the time. If you go to crank up like yours with the little Honda suitcase, go to crank it up and it's just like, "Oh my gosh, I just it doesn't want to rev up or anything." >> Yeah. Check the exhaust first. >> Yeah, we didn't even check it. And if you knock that thing out, blow it out, crank it up and with the pressure from the exhaust it'll just blow all the junk out of it and you should be good to go.
