Install Rafters with Hangers

What happens here

Lift and position each pre-cut rafter onto the main beams. Ensure the birdsmouth cut sits flush and securely on the inner beam. The ridge cut should align correctly with the outer beam. Once in place, secure the rafters using hurricane ties (joist hangers). These metal connectors are nailed or screwed into both the rafter and the main beam, providing strong, code-compliant connections. Use an impact driver for efficient and secure fastening of the structural screws.
