Make First Angled Cut on Valve

What happens here

With the flexible hose removed, take a fine-toothed saw, such as an 'Easy Stroke' saw, and carefully make a 45-degree cut into the body of the plastic valve. Cut until you start to feel or see the internal clips within the valve structure. This angled cut helps expose the locking mechanism and aids in the disassembly process.

Goal: Using a fine-toothed saw, make a 45-degree angle cut on one side of the valve body to expose internal clips.
