Apply CPVC Cement and Install Valve

What happens here

Apply Oatey FlowGuard Gold medium yellow all-weather one-step CPVC cement to both the outside of the existing CPVC pipe and the inside of the new CPVC male adapter. Quickly and firmly push the assembled valve onto the exposed CPVC pipe, giving it a quarter-turn to ensure even distribution of the cement and proper alignment. Hold it in place for a few seconds to allow the initial bond to form.

Goal: Apply Oatey FlowGuard Gold CPVC cement to the pipe and adapter, then attach the new valve assembly.
