Assemble New Valve and Adapter

What happens here

Take a 1/2-inch CPVC male adapter and a 1/2-inch by 3/8-inch female angle stop valve (quarter-turn style). Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the male adapter to ensure a good seal, then thread it into the female inlet of the angle stop valve. Tighten securely by hand and then with a wrench, but be careful not to overtighten and crack the plastic adapter.

Goal: Connect a CPVC male adapter to a new quarter-turn angle stop valve.
