In this video
Use a propane torch to heat the joint. Focus the heat on the heavier brass valve body next to the fitting, not on the fitting itself. The heat will transfer to the copper. When the flux begins to bubble and smoke, the joint is getting close to temperature. Touch the tip of the lead-free solder to the seam on the side opposite the flame. If the joint is hot enough, the solder will instantly melt and be drawn into the entire seam via capillary action. Feed enough solder to create a complete, shiny silver ring around the joint, then remove the heat and solder. Repeat for all three joints.
