Attach Hinges to New Doors — Attach the New Hinge to the Cabinet Door
Part of project
Cabinet Door Hinge Replacement · Step 4 of 6
In this video
Now, proceed to fix the new standard concealed type hinges to your new cabinet doors. Each hinge is designed with a specific round part that should be pushed into the corresponding circular recess pre-drilled in the door. These parts are typically designed to fit in only one orientation. Once the hinge is correctly seated in its recess, secure it firmly to the door using the screws that are provided with the hinges. If you find it difficult to start the screws or want to prevent splitting the wood, you can use a bradawl to create a small pilot hole before driving in each screw.
