Using a drill equipped with a Phillips head drill bit, proceed to remove all the screws from one of the old door hinges. Work carefully to avoid stripping the screw heads. Once all screws are removed, the hinge might still be stuck due to paint or being tightly set. If so, gently tap the hinge from the backside with a hammer to loosen it, then remove the hinge completely from its mortise.
