Remove the Cabinet Door
5 minutesSupport the weight of the cabinet door with one hand. While supporting the door, use a screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws securing the hinge plates to the cabinet frame. Once all screws are removed, carefully detach the door from the cabinet.
Watch: Remove the Cabinet DoorDetach the Old Hinge from the Door
5 minutesWith the cabinet door laid flat on a protected surface, identify the screws that attach the hinge arm or plate to the door. Use a screwdriver to carefully remove these screws. Some hinges might have clips or require a slight twist to detach. Once the screws are out, remove the old hinge from the door.
Watch: Remove Old Hinge from Door and Select New HingePrepare the New Hinge
3 minutesUnpack the new cabinet door hinge. If it came with multiple parts, identify the door-side component and the frame-side component. Check if the new hinge requires any specific orientation or adjustment before installation. Ensure all necessary screws are present with the new hinge.
Watch: Unpack New HingesAttach the New Hinge to the Cabinet Door
5 minutesAlign the new hinge onto the existing screw holes on the cabinet door. Insert the provided screws and tighten them with a screwdriver until the hinge is firmly attached. Do not overtighten, as this could strip the screw holes.

7 minutesCarefully lift the cabinet door and align the hinge mechanism with the corresponding mounting points on the cabinet frame. Insert and tighten the screws to secure the hinge plates to the cabinet frame. Ensure the door hangs straight and operates smoothly.
Watch: Reinstall Cabinet Door to FrameAdjust the Hinge (if necessary)
