Take one of your new soft-close hinges. Position it on the cabinet door where the old hinge was, ensuring it sits correctly within the pre-drilled cup hole. Secure the hinge to the door using one of the appropriate screws (often a Phillips head) but do not tighten it completely. Then, insert and partially tighten the second screw into the other designated hole on the hinge. Once both screws are in place, you can fully tighten them. Remember to continue supporting the cabinet door if it only has two hinges to prevent any accidental movement.
