Step 3 · Build the Foundation

Choose a foundation type suitable for your shed size, local soil conditions, and climate. For a concrete block foundation, level concrete blocks at the corners and along the perimeter according to your shed's dimensions. For a concrete slab, pour and finish a concrete pad. For a skid foundation, place treated lumber skids directly on the prepared ground or on concrete piers, ensuring they are level and square.
