First, choose a 'control block' as your reference point. Then, adjust the remaining blocks to be level with the control block by adding or removing gravel underneath. Once all blocks are level, verify the foundation is square by measuring the diagonals; both diagonal measurements should be identical. Mark the center of each block. Finally, fill around the blocks with dirt or gravel, or concrete for added stability. These blocks will later have 4x4 squares installed in their center to which the skids will be attached, preventing lateral movement and securing the shed.
