Step 9 · Sweep Joint Sand

Spread a layer of polymeric sand over the entire paver surface. Use a soft-bristled broom to sweep the sand, ensuring it fills all the joints between the pavers completely. Work in sections, sweeping excess sand off the paver surface as you go. Once the joints are filled, lightly mist the patio with water according to the manufacturer's instructions to activate the sand's binding properties.
