What happens here
Locate the oil filler neck on the engine. Wipe the filler cap clean before removing it. Use a clean container (like a transfer canister) to pour approximately 6.5 quarts of fresh Rotella T6 engine oil into the filler neck. The manual suggests between 6.5 and 7 quarts, so starting with 6.5 quarts is a good baseline. After adding the oil, reinstall the filler cap. Start the tractor and let it run for a short period to circulate the new oil. Then, shut off the engine and check the oil level using the dipstick, adding more oil if needed until it reaches the appropriate mark on the dipstick. The presenter emphasizes filling the transfer canister only half-full to avoid spilling. He also suggests keeping an eye on the oil level during the first few hours of operation.
Goal: Add new engine oil and verify correct oil level
