guys you're going to enjoy today's video this is a really cool tool that we'll be using here on the farm and it's a gift for Mom it's a portable power generator so no longer do you have to carry fuel and a stinky old generator with you when you go camping when you go tailgating pretty cool let's have some fun today here on tool Tuesday hey there folks this is Josh Stoney Ridge farmer welcome back to another tool tuesdays here on the farm today it is all about a gift a gift that I got for my mom and we're checking up on her to see if she's watching these videos to see if she knows she's going to get this gift but today we have a portable power generator from jakhary and this is the little display on it this is a solution for tailgating for carrying a portable power source for charging batteries for having a power source at the campground and mom and stepdad they camp probably a month out of the year I think it's going to be an awesome handy tool for them to have so come along today as we show you this 500 watt portable generator from jakhary I think you'll like it alright [Music] so let's get right into the meat and potatoes of what this is all about because I'm getting rained on it won't stop raining today I got to get this video done for you guys so let's show you what we've got this is the portable power generator it's a 500 watt max portable power generator I've seen it up to 350 watts that's a lot of watts it's a lot of starting power so it won't power a hairdryer or a toaster or a toaster oven or freezer or a refrigerator and may power a small refrigerator we haven't tried that quite yet but it will charge up with AC power it also charges up with a cigarette lighter in your car so if you're running around town or whatever if you're going camping you can start your car up or you're driving to your destination you can charge it up and we also have a huge 100 watt solar panel and I charge the unit up with the solar panel and I also charge it on the wall the wall charger took about two and a half to three hours and the solar panel in full sunlight which this is a large hundred watt solar panel it took about six hours to go from 35 percent to a hundred percent charge now that's pretty cool this is a high-quality item that I think my mom is really really gonna love so there's a little zipper pouch right in here inside the zipper pouch is all your goodies or your solar panel and it just plugs in via USB you can also use just the solar panel to help charge like your cell phone or your car battery or whatever so we're constantly in need of a portable power source here on the farm we have a small generator it's an old John Deere generator that we've been using to run around for a portable power source so sometimes a battery at our gate needs to be recharged so we'll take that portable generator down well now we've got a solution for that or mom's got a solution I'll tell you a little secret I got one for myself too so mom's got a solution this little portable power generator right here you can see I've turned it on we're at 99% this is the AC power you hit that button for USB and you hit that button for your cigarette lighter or charger adapters so let's took this thing up to these two lights these are two LED extremely bright lights and this fan and see what happens see what it does so we've got our AC power to the on position we've got our plug plug that in to our power strip and we'll turn the power strip on and we'll turn this fan on high just to give it the full-on test there you go boom nice really works good now we're running this extremely bright LED that extremely bright LED that fan and we're pulling about 267 watts right here the input is right here so you could plug this in actually while you're using it but I don't know why you'd want to do that and to turn everything off you just hit this button right here there we go you turn it back on you can watch our watch so we go from zero watts let's see it's frozen up there there we go one watt - boom everything's on I imagine it's going to peak out somewhere in the 280 nice 270 so 270 watts I just cannot win the rain will not let up today it has been pouring there's probably a raindrop right on the screen there for you so we're trying to get a coupon code from jakhary company hopefully they'll email me back by the end of the day today once I get a coupon code for you guys hopefully they'll give us like 10 or 20 percent off we'll post you a link in the video description if you want to pick up a portable power generator there's just so many awesome uses for a little portable power generator and I've seen no downside to it now it will not power my freezer I have somewhere a small refrigerator let's plug some more stuff in and see what it'll run here's another light we'll plug that guy in see if it lights up it's an awesome work light right there boom woo good thing is bright man let's see how many watts we're pulling now 362 watts we're gonna run this thing until it breaks let's let's run it all the way up to 500 and prove that it does 500 now the book says it won't run this let's see what it does when we plug it up it says 120 volt 60 Hertz 10 amp 10 amps that's a lot of amps alright let's plug her in see what she does it may only I don't know if it'll run this or not we're gonna find out fingers crossed Oh killed it alright let's try again we cannot give up that easy let's plug this guy directly in and see what it does come on buddy there we go all right here goes nothing Oh see if we can gently get it started so it won't run to waltz great big drill this is the big ol 210g Dewalt drill won't run it bummer but it will run basically everything you need to go camping and or glamping you know charge your phones it'll run your radio and it's something that you can set the solar panel out all day and will passively charge itself and you can run your lights and your fans and all sorts of stuff for when you're camping and guys if you want to keep those skeeters away grab yourself a fan if you're outside and you're in an area it's got a lot of mosquitoes you get yourself a big fan like that plug it in and you eliminate the bugs from your campsite pretty cool stuff I hope you enjoyed this tool Tuesday that's a pretty cool little outfit right there we'll be using one on the farm because it got one for myself and mom's got a cool gift coming thanks a lot we'll see you next time on tool Tuesday's on the Stoney Ridge all right [Music] here in sweet that's way supposed to be stone Tyrion [Music] so it's been about an hour and we're gonna run back out here and take a look see what we got going my bet is they're still running we're about 50 percent battery that's my bet everything's still running nice and we got about Oh 68 percent battery awesome guys I hope you enjoyed tool Tuesday this week come on back and see me here I'm a Stoney Ridge charges by plugging it to the wall we redo bubu
