TRACTOR SERVICE HACKS!! DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE!! MASSEY, FORD, JOHN DEERE, KUBOTA

What happens here

Using a 7/16-inch wrench, loosen the bolt at the top of the primary fuel filter housing. Once loosened, the filter can be removed from below. Remove the old fuel filter element (NAPA Gold Filter 3166) and the rubber O-ring located on the bolt. Clean any debris from the housing and the bolt. Install a new O-ring (supplied with the new filter) onto the bolt, lubricating it slightly with oil or diesel. Place the new filter element onto the bolt and secure it into the housing. Do not overtighten the bolt; tighten only until the fuel stops leaking (approximately 17-18 ft-lbs or snug). Repeat this process for the secondary fuel filter (NAPA Gold Filter 3166), which includes a glass bowl as a water separator. Clean the glass bowl thoroughly before installation and install a new O-ring. The presenter experiences two common issues: the glass bowl breaking due to overtightening and forgetting the O-ring, leading to fuel leaks. The lesson is to tighten just until leaks stop, not more, and oil the O-rings.

Goal: Replace primary and secondary fuel filters
