TOUGH retaining wall build. Day1
What happens here
To safely access the work area without damaging utility lines, the crew lays out additional slat tracks to form a continuous pathway for the heavy machinery. Once the pathway is established, the demolition of the old retaining wall begins. First, some of the top courses of the existing retaining wall blocks are manually removed and placed into the bucket of the skid steer. The mini excavator then assists by using its bucket to dislodge and remove more of the old blocks, which are then either moved by the mini excavator itself or manually loaded into the skid steer's bucket.
Goal: Safely begin demolition of the retaining wall and establish machinery access.
