Assess Damage and Gather Tools

hey folks thatfixitguy here and today we're gonna be fixing the cord on this dyson vacuum cleaner this was given to us used by a friend and it already had a repair going on with the cord well as you can see that repair broke so come along let's get to fixing [Music] so i got a whole another project going on right here that's going to be awesome but for now we've got to go to right here okay we've got those cool splices that my brother-in-law gave me the ones where you just use a lighter or a little heat gun and get these hooked up it'll melt the lead we're gonna hook these up this is gonna work out great and then i think for the top one to cover it back up instead of using electrical tape you know i got some of this heat shrink um half inch i thought i'd grab three eighths man i swore that i pulled this out of the 3 8 pile but whatever it's gonna work we're gonna make it work right
