(4,732 characters)Hey folks, that fix a guy here and today I've got some troubleshooting for you, all right? We are in my friend's master bathroom and we're going to be dealing with their laboratory faucet. They've got a three-piece wide spread, they've got a three-piece wide spread lab faucet that the hot side works great but the cold side is a little bit funky. So come along, let's get to fixing. Okay, so the first thing we're going to do is we're going to go underneath the sink, all right? We're going to go down here, we're going to shut the cold side angle stop off and we're going to pull the supply line off. So this does look like it's an old multi-turn valve but it actually is just a quarter on, quarter off valve, check that out. And so what we're going to do, we're actually going to leave this on, we're actually going to take this off right at the faucet right there. I'm dealing with this and you're taking these two things apart. So when taking these two things apart, you want to have a backup wrench, okay? So if possible, I like to use two adjustable jaws. Maybe which way you like to turn them. It's funny how much flack I get for not using them right but you know what? You look at this right here, guess what? I can't actually put that on one way but it fits the other in this tight space. So guess what? I use them how I want to use them. And then I might have to flip it over because it's such a tight space and flip it again. Look at that. All right, get that popped off and make sure we've got good flow. We totally do. Super strong pressure. All right, that's the first thing you check, okay? Make sure that this is, make sure that your supply line has got nothing in it, all right? Get this drained out, get it out of our way. Okay, and so next we'll try to see up in here, see if we've got anything, okay? So maybe there is actually something in there clogging that. I can kind of see something. Now, take a little plastic container here. We'll get a toothpick or a pick set or something. Try to see if there's anything in there. I wanted to make sure there was nothing in here. Sometimes there are going to be little washers and stuff in here but I can see that there's water running down this toothpick. There is no kind of nothing in there. Good rock and roll there. We can go ahead, let's hook this back up. We're not going to have to take this off anymore. I like to go hand tight with these and then no more than one full rotation tightening with the wrenches. All right, so blowing water in our bucket, I didn't really see anything in there. I mean, there very well could be something in there that caused this. But I guess there's a couple little particles of something in there. But I don't know. I did not see anything in our little Tupperware container here that could have been that. But look at that. That is, but that is just as good as that now. So it's all back up and running. So it's so interesting with the way these lines are and the way they're bent because there's actually no way with this piece right up here being flexible too. There's no way to undo that like with this style of faucet. That's so funny. Okay, so that's the first couple things that I would check out when troubleshooting a faucet. Okay, when you have one side that doesn't work as good as the other like this, that's the first place I would start is down here at the shut off valves and the supply lines. All right, folks, first thing I have to say, if anybody owns this color faucet, please tell me if those hoses from the valves to the spout if they're kinked, right? Because I don't like this setup, but I don't see any way around making that not kinked. It's just a weird funky design and I actually don't like it. This is a troubleshooting video. We actually got the problem that we were looking to fix done and that being said, you started the angle stop, angle stop, take off the supply line, blow into a bucket, check for debris, then look at the connection where the supply line connects to the valve. Because sometimes there's a little screen up in there and just they make a little filter. This instance, it didn't have that, but not to say your faucet won't have that. Okay, so I could have poked something out with that toothpick whenever I was looking in there, but I don't know, I don't know what the chances are. I didn't see anything in the bucket, but it's done. It got hooked up. We got it put back together and my friend's going to be happy. We really hope the videos are helping. If you guys could please subscribe to YouTube.
