Mixed Progress and Tragic End

get him nice and rehydrated and about three hours later he started to respond a little bit more and as the night went on last night he responded a little bit more and he started going back that which is good our buffering and froze up that's not good so anyhow to make a long story short we'll kind of go over here and walk over here make a long story short here we tried everything we possibly could last night working on the baby goat and probably passed away sometime between 1:00 and 2:00 in the morning we got up all night long giving him a few drops every hour of fluid and milk and he was taking it he was waking up and taking it but he just didn't make it through the night so I just want to give you guys an update I feel like his neck was probably broken getting hung up in the fence like that and if you've ever owned goats then you understand that you know they they get caught in the fence sometimes and you can do everything that you can possibly think of to keep the goats out of the fence but they're going to get into the fence they're just natural Wanderers so he tried to wander out and got his head caught in the fence we also had another goat get hung up in some baling string and that was probably a couple weeks ago so we keep a close eye on the goats every day twice a day try to go up and check them and make sure everything's okay we can't just let them roam free because we've got a coyote problem right
