Simple Way To Hide Your Awkward Laundry Closet
What happens here
After the tile mortar has fully cured (typically 24 hours), apply grout to the spaces between the tiles. Use a grout float to press the grout firmly into the joints, ensuring full coverage. After allowing the grout to set slightly, use a damp sponge to wipe away any excess grout from the tile surfaces. Once the grout is clean and cured, install new baseboards along the perimeter of the tiled floor. Secure the baseboards with a brad nailer, ensuring a clean and finished transition between the floor and the shiplap walls. This completes the flooring and perimeter trim work.
Goal: Grout the newly laid floor tiles and clean any excess. Install new baseboards around the perimeter of the laundry nook to finish the edges.
