Repair Your Drywall in 3 EASY STEPS! Prepping Walls to Paint
What happens here
Once the wall anchors are recessed, apply spackle generously over the indentation using a wide putty knife. Apply with significant pressure to ensure the spackle is pushed deep into the recessed area. Spread the spackle in multiple directions to fill the void completely, then use firm pressure to smooth and feather the edges of the spackle, blending it seamlessly with the surrounding wall. Similar to small holes, immediately wipe away any excess spackle from the surface of the wall to avoid creating bumps that would require more sanding.
Goal: Fill the recessed areas created by wall anchors with spackle, ensuring full coverage and a smooth, level finish.
