Removing Shutters with Shur-Lok Fasteners. Window Shutter Removal.

What happens here

After removing the shutters, you may find that some of the button bases have broken off, leaving a short stub in the siding. Use wire cutters to clip the end of the broken button flush with the house siding. Then, take a flathead screwdriver and place it on the clipped button end. Lightly tap the screwdriver with a hammer, pushing the remaining portion of the button into the empty space behind the siding. This creates a clear hole for new shutter buttons.

Goal: Clear remaining broken button pieces from the siding.
