Removing Shutters with Shur-Lok Fasteners. Window Shutter Removal.

What happens here

Before reinstalling the shutters, prepare them by pushing the new Easy-Lok fasteners into the pre-drilled holes in the shutter itself. It's crucial to ensure the shutter is oriented correctly; the larger, decorative side of the shutter usually goes at the top. The video shows the shutters were labeled with tape and an arrow pointing up on the back for easy orientation. The fasteners shown were pre-painted to match the white shutters; if yours are a different color, you may need to paint the fasteners first to achieve a seamless look. A good method for painting fasteners is to push them into a piece of cardboard, then spray or brush paint them.

Goal: Prepare shutters for re-installation by inserting fasteners and ensuring correct orientation.
