Removing & Installing Cellular Shades. How to install & remove blinds.

line that actually requires a Phillips head screwdriver. Number three, Phillips head bit. We're going to be using, we've got a drill set up with a Phillips head bin in it. We've got this blind's got two lines on both sides. Want to release lines that they're tied up on the side. Going to release those. The left side used to raise this blind up. We're going to want to get it up and out of the way. And up over here on the back side of this blind, we've got three Phillips head screws that we're just going to loosen up halfway. So, you want to just loosen them up halfway. Now, if you take the screw all the way out, then there's a little plastic piece that will fall out and you'll have to put it back in. So, you just take this to actually hold the blind in. And this tab's got to be facing outward. When you go to reinstall that blind, it's going to catch on this top part. And then we're going to screw and tighten these little tabs. And this is tab is what actually holds that blind in there. So the face of the blind, you know, the face of the blind is here's your strings coming out. And the face is this little ridge right inside here. And that's going to catch on to right here. So, we're just going to take that blind, stick it up in there, and you'll angle it and slide it back until you feel it catch. And once it catches, then you're going to take and tighten up your screws. Make sure the that little plastic tab is facing towards you. This one, the little tab spun around. You can see it. And the the sharp part of the tab has got to be facing the blind. Just like that. And now the blinds reinstalled. So, we're going to be removing the set of cellular blinds. So, it doesn't take any tools. And there's a little tiny, if you're looking, there's this little tiny tab that you'll see there. [snorts] And if you take that tab, I can just take my finger and that tab will actually just pull out just like this. And you're going to pull those tabs out. But before you remove the line, you want to raise it all the way up. Just like that. Make sure it's it's not tied to anything. Now, just grab those three tabs. Pull them out. And you're going to rotate them counterclockwise. When you reinstall it, you're going to set it right back in that same position. And then just rotate it clockwise to lock it back in place. And you want to push when you reinstall it. push it up against the ceiling so it catches or up against [snorts] the window trim. So you push it up, it'll catch and lock in place. If you don't push it up, it's hanging down a little bit. It's not going to actually catch the blind. So you're just going to take your blind, stick it up, push it up tight, rotate it, it'll lock. So we're going to just rotate all of them out. Next line just comes out simply with no tools. You just take and line your cords up so they don't get tangled. And then we're going to be spraying all the trim. And this will line itself. I'm just using I can use a 51 tool or my finger. This little clip just rotates out right here. You can see that it just pops right out. So, no tools required. If you want, you can for ease, you can just use a 5 in one. Just pop it out, too. And this blind will actually just come right off. Once we get the blinds off, we like to so the cords don't get tangled, we like to roll the ends up and ready to reinstall it, just unwind it. Then make sure you have the front of the line. So your lines are coming out. And on the front you want to have it reversed. And you're just going to place it right back up where it came. And these clips will rotate and lock your blind right back in place. Right off. Once we get the blinds off, we like to so the cords don't get tangled. We like to roll the ends up. And this makes it when you're putting the blinds back on and when you're storing them that these things don't get in a big mess and get all tangled up and it makes it a lot easier reinstalling the blinds. So I take and roll my lines back up. And then I'm going to take the back side of the blind and this is where I'm going to label the BL. I take a roll of tape just use pair of 3M masking tape. I'm going to put it on the back of the blind up here. And this window comes out of a room where there's multiple blinds. And so I'm going to identify this left window. so I'll get that blind labelled. ready to store. And the way that
