Ram Trucks after 3 BRUTAL years of Work

What happens here

The presenter concludes his three-year assessment by reiterating the truck's exceptional reliability. He emphasizes that despite extensive plowing (20-21 times per year) and towing heavy loads—often exceeding legal limits in unsupervised environments—the truck's transmission has never had a single issue or failure. He proudly states, 'We've never had a single failure or a recall or any problem' with the trucks. He contrasts his regular cab with his friend Tim's extended cab, both used for work-related tasks, affirming both trucks' consistent performance. The presenter specifically notes that the engine has never disappointed him and the truck consistently moves snow more effectively than his Ford trucks under similar conditions. This concludes the verification of its heavy-duty towing and work capacity.

Goal: After three years and significant heavy-duty usage, including extreme towing beyond legal limits, the Ram 2500 has proven its reliability with no major failures.

if you stand back you'll see a plow on the front and a plow on the back starting november 15th the plows go on and they never come off and that basically means that this truck is only designed for one thing and that's work and then right around april 15th the plows go off and the truck gets hooked up to a trailer and it starts pulling and that's all it does is work so it only has 15 000 miles but almost 100 of those 15 000 miles is plowing or towing tim's truck is about 50 000 miles and he doesn't do quite as much plowing or towing as i do but all of his miles are work related as well and we're both in the same category love the truck the cab love almost everything about it except for a few of those nuances like problems with the body this is pretty typical for what we do we snow plow here in minnesota on average 20 to 21 times per year and so the trucks go out a lot and we've got with these back plows we can move almost as much snow as our loader can with a 17 foot pusher but that puts a lot of stress and weight on that and we've never had any issues of any sort whatsoever with these trucks in three years and all the miles and work we've done we've never had a single failure or a recall or any problem that's a good record man [Music] [Applause] this was a bad idea we were just having fun but yeah right there all right all right sometimes here we go yeah don't do that nope nope no bad idea all at once yeah so let's talk about the engine okay this engine delivers the power and performance you need it never lacks it never over delivers the fuel economy is not fabulous but it's not subpar normal driving in the city i'll get 12 13 at best when i'm hooked up to a trailer i'll get eight or nine my fords almost identical my 2014 both fords are almost identical and we didn't really talk about case you guys aren't familiar with it we did buy two of these in the same year i've used the regular cab truck because i don't like to torture myself when i'm plowing tim has the extended cab truck because he keeps squirting out little kids so he needs something that when he's not plowing or working he can throw them in the back so um they're almost identical in every way shape or form except for just cab size so we've had an opportunity to run both of these pretty extensively i just would i buy another one i wouldn't run out and buy another okay i would probably do my shopping and i would look at that godzilla 7.3 engine because that thing seems like it could be amazing but…
