(12,445 characters)i just got a call that someone stole the catalytic converter off from our pickup truck while it was parked in the lot yeah yeah so i don't know what else they stole i mean i don't know if they stole anything off the sledge off the asv off the cat so yeah it's gonna be could be a fun one snow plowing tonight not the way i wanted to start this snowfall this snow plow but let's go see if any of our equipment's been other equipment's been damaged [Music] so i learned that you can steal the catalytic converter off a truck in less than just a few minutes [Music] alex sam frankie and i were 100 miles up north and alex we all came back down for this big snowstorm and found out that the truck somebody came in the day before or that day and well you'll see have you noticed anything else got ripped off you know when i ran the sledge and got the protech put on there and i put this plow on that machine and i kind of looked over everything else i don't think they might have just been testing the waters with that one yeah and you know now they know that they can come back they're probably gonna come back oh they're they're cleaning house i had two batteries in the back of that extended cab and they sniped them those are gone too yup and i thought oh maybe tim grabbed him because he was worried about him falling out of the back but i asked right he said no i didn't take him because i told him i was gonna grab did you fire this one up to see if they i crawled in there and looked okay it's just on the one on the driver's side there's two of them on there uh they just stole the one side did you fire up the tlb by any chance no not yet okay sabotage the equipment either right yeah i don't know that panel over there i never had that open that was closed and it's open now they were looking for things too though yeah exactly yeah tools or okay so we should fire up black betty the manitou cat let's see what they did on the on your truck you want to show me there you can see the pipe there all right well security cameras are in place we got them up there we got security cameras on the buildings and then yeah i wonder what else they'd steal off of this equipment that's what i'm worried about the only thing yeah they took the batteries out of the back of that truck scrap is higher price than it's ever been alex will will alex alex wills never ran a skid loader in his life like like ever right this is your first night kent got hurt sam's dad got hurt hurt himself will's coming in for us i've got him in the asv because it's got the best visibility and i got him with an arctic because it's the most forgiving i mean if he hits a curb he's not going to come out of it with a big bruise on his head right um i'm gonna have him start just getting familiar with machine controls back here and then um i think i'm gonna we're gonna divide into two teams i'm gonna go with sam in the manito and jake in the sledge and we're gonna go do the coffee shop we're gonna take the hike this time just to break it up a little bit and let you guys start playing over in this lot sounds good all right so this was supposed to be a six to nine inch snow storm but you're not gonna see six to nine inches it's not gonna at least look like it but if you notice how wet the camera is it's because it was actually above freezing while we were plowing it was about 36 oddly warm and so this was hitting melting thick wet snow so it was about six to nine inches of fluff just condensed down to about two to three inches of the wet heart attack kind of snow and you'll see how easily it overwhelms some of our equipment a little later on in the video when you start to see it actually accumulate [Music] i always like to keep my guys and teams of two to three because then they can work together and two good operators can accomplish more than three guys working completely separate than each other so this arctic pusher is about 25 to 30 years old pretty darn old still works just as good as uh all of the new ones we just rebuilt it a little better than the market actually you know what i want to do is i want you to go straight right next to jake and this oh yeah you see where i scraped already down the middle there all right i will yeah yeah yeah let's go do a side by each this is the difference between a sectional pusher where the entire mold blade goes up and down with the parking lot and a sectional pusher where just the edge but there's a night and day difference is what we're discovering in minnesota and i say minnesota because you guys in different parts of the country will have different kinds of snow and i've heard that the different plows will work better with different kinds of snow so what we're finding around here is well you'll just see arctic that's all i can say that's all i could say that's why we use arctic and some people are like oh you got to use metal plus one arctic one metal plus is the cost of two and a half arctics on average so here we're on the back of one of my plow trucks and this has got the 16 foot this is a snow power and we're going bass adwords and this is where you'll start to listen listen and hear it just overwhelming the truck is like hitting a brick wall [Music] so oh the snow dog is fixed found out there was a short in the wiring harness and a short in the controller so i got her all uh chris steele out of fridley minnesota got me all fixed up good company good people up there look at that plow truck just sliding out there's just no traction under there you'll see how slippery it is coming up in this video one of the nice things about these snow power blades and the boss factor egg 180z is your ability to windrow forward or backward with your back blade and i'm actually going to show you exactly what that looks like later on in this video [Music] that's a big hunka hog of snow how does it handle that bigger bob pusher well better than i thought but you're lifting it up you got to keep adjusting it because you lift it up and you know you don't want to tip forward and stuff other than that better than i thought definitely can't move as much snow as i can with like this pusher and the asv per se but really yeah huh all right wait wait okay that could be elsa with the the conditions we have going on i'm sure have something to do with that too well this snow is only two or three inches but it's so wet it's almost like closer to eight inches of flop right now so this is i mean i the sledge can't push in you wanna try it out no i've tried it i've been in it so the ground temp uh the temperature on the pavement is still below freezing but the air temp is above so everything that's coming down is hitting that melting and then re-freezing below the snow creating an ice lick for then the snow to come down kind of like the perfect conditions just to have really slick nasty wet stuff but i wanted to test out the manitos so you guys are gonna see that video coming up sam was doing a count last time i ran the manitou last time i ran it i killed it ten times even look at jake sliding over there he can't get any traction i gotta sipe them tires on his machine i think i'm going to sipe them some of you guys that i asked why we don't run chase but we can't damage this parking lot or we pay for it and some of you have asked about studs and it's the same reason we can't damage parking lot or we pay for it but i can sipe the tires i can go on amazon and there's a little machine you can pay 200 bucks get it and you can sip the tires yourself that means you cut the small tiny grooves and the tires that give you the traction for winter work look at that center section ride now that thing just contours so our three of our arctics are currently out of commission because i need to get new cutting edges on them and new shoes on the side moldboards because we basically wore them down to that point so we are using other backup equipment i have a few and a few backup pieces of pushers few backup pushers in reserve and that's what we're running on this storm inches of snow right well it was raining earlier today all right check out this storm system you guys it's going backwards normally they just go straight across we're the green dot right there right well what's happening is there must be a high pressure center right here and it's just swirling bass backwards right over the top of us you can see the timeline cooking right down on the bottom of the screen there and it just it's gaining it's gaining juice from the great lakes right we got one here and one here picking up momentum and just dumping it back on us don't put it back on us this is gonna be a long night i don't know when it's gonna be over i don't like storm systems like this i don't know how well you're gonna see this but we're gonna do what i think is pretty cool we're gonna z pattern this thing and what this does is this allows us to windrow with the pull plow we're gonna do one pushing and one pulling and we're gonna put you guys on the blade and let you see firsthand what that's like so let's do it so there's two pull plows that allow you to do this the new boss drag pro 180z and then the snowpower they both utilize the same design there's a lot of similarities between the two plows and here you can see it in action [Music] so the cat is running a black arctic which is did not which does not have a sectional edge so it's just like a regular pusher and you can see right where the cat goes and then right where the asv goes with the sectional pusher it just cleans everything up [Music] i don't think they're going i anywhere think these boys are going anywhere maybe if three of us plus see he's not stuck on anything it's just that slick out another weird winter minnesota winter storm thank you guys yep slick out dude that wasn't much of a grade to get stuck on but it shows you what we're dealing with here man saturday i ain't gonna slave away this is one of our smaller accounts we hate this account there's no room it's always full of cars always full of cars and when you try to get your truck in there and your pool plow you should see tim tim tim goes nuts in this account because he's got the extended cap sometimes i let him go in there but normally i'll go in and take care of it because i you know i bought the regular cab in there and i can sneak in and get stuff done a little easier but every now and then i like to remind tim who signed the account up because he did it so i let him i let him go in and try to maneuver [Music] around [Music] this actually would have been pretty funny i know all right i got the asv key i need the sledge key and i think we're done for the we're not done and we're gonna let you guys go by your merry way and we're gonna go do our thing [Applause] i want to find out what sam thinks of that manito i think we need to do a video just on that machine i think he figured out where the two-speed is i bet this sucked tonight i did the beginning yeah it was slick and then it and then it wasn't so bad nothing broke huh [Laughter] don't speak that evil language he will not say voldemort right the name that cannot be spoken we got some new stuff coming down the pipeline guys we're thoroughly going to test out that manito and see what that's like and show you guys all of the features on that thing we've got another video coming out grinding ice on a gravel driveway because we've got plenty of ice this year we're going to do one of those we're going to head north we still haven't filmed this one yet but i promise it's on the schedule the cheap chineseium chainsaws that's a zack's collection of the steel and husqvarna knockoff chainsaws we're going to be checking that out and we got a lot more action coming at you so make sure you hit that like button and i want to say thank you for doing that so much appreciate all of your guys help all of the comments i see what you're doing again thank you very much we got new names coming up on the board we got my invisible element banner cujo is up there that means you're going to get 10 off anything you order at cujo ballard equipment is coming on the board and one that i'm super excited about i'm not even gonna say it till it's till it's for sure here uh but that there's one company that have been i was like i made the board to try to get to be on the board and they're on so that one's cool god bless you guys go get em i'll see on another one catch you guys later
