Testing the new EFI Snow blower

all right guys today we're going to be testing the only efi that's electronic fuel injected snowblower made and what this is designed to do is to take the hassle of starting a snowblower out of the equation and of course we've got our drink of the day we're going to start this right off the bat cranberry raspberry spin drift i don't know if i like that come on baby let's go we got a snow blower to open up and get running come on you gonna help me today huh come on come here baby here's your good girl yes little white long-haired german shepherd good little pup she's learning what we got in the box all right we gotta shoot one big orange shoot shoot for that ice center there kind of helps move the box around right we've got a battery to charge though right here this efi unit requires a charge on the battery before she'll fire up on the first go around that's kind of important to make sure we get that going so let's just start cracking her open caution read operators manual like that's gonna happen like that's gonna happen what the heck they're already off to a bad start that's what we got youtube for so let's see start smarter starts in two simple steps just turn the key and fire up on a single pull in any condition at any temperature sip fuel gobble snow everybody likes doing that knowledge is power features an electronic governor to eliminate speed loss delivering consistent throwing performance and an ultra quiet item easy does it a completely sealed unit the efi fuel system eliminates maintenance costs it won't come up in the off season so you can pack it away with plenty peace of mind what is that am i seeing wow look at that this right here is what we call the snow gobbler kids don't put your your booger flingers in there because it'll booger fling your booger flingers right off i've got my safety goggles on for protection i mean why wouldn't you want protection when you're opening a box instead of when you're doing crazy crap like working on a construction site all right so my brain pan is telling me right things i've got to hook this up get some power going to it and let the battery the first battery charge up because dale told me that you got to charge this up like three times per year like once preseason once mid-season and then maybe throw a charge on it at the end of the season but then after that life's supposed to be pretty simple i guess all right let's just plug it in i found a spare tire popper oh isn't that so nice they're everywhere it means we're getting close to being closer to being getting in business looks like somebody else loves milwaukee wrenches too enough to keep my 13 mil socket it's 21 degrees outside all righty i don't know if my fingers will make it through the entire install if there's a lot of stuff i gotta do shoot that's what we're gonna work on next is getting this shoot put in place my brain pan is telling me to try to configure those things together somehow so that's what we're going to try to do okay you guys want to see something that's confusing is all get out if you're not expecting it right here you see these bad boys these are actually the skid plates for the uh the the frame for the housing they're right there so these have to come up i wasn't expecting that i'm like how does this work this doesn't seem quite right and then boom shakalaka the little neurons fired together i'm like that's gotta come off so i can put on the other thing and then put those where those go so let's do that right now okay shin good i think the next thing is to toss some fuel in it fire it up first efi snow engine all right well if that's true then all i should have to do is turn it on not mess with any carbs nothing and now this thing has never been fired once in its life okay i got something out of adjustment because that auger shouldn't be running okay that was pretty impressive this has never been ran before she popped off on a second go around but i have something screwed up right in here right in here and this is not tightened up this there's russian things a little bit let's see if she fires now and if the augers don't spin this time me alright i gotta say it's got good balance if i can control will it be able to snow blow ice let's find out this is throwing snow from here into the middle of that street over there [Music] blue snow from my yard over the street into the neighbor's yard i'm not joking it landed over here from there and of course as soon as i start using the snowblower i take the safety googles off i mean why wouldn't you take the safety googles off as soon as you actually start using the snowbark well we know it can blow ice let's see what else it can do [Music] so we're gonna amp this up 10 full this is not enough snow in my book to really give it a good run but i want to get familiar with the machine before we start to really take it in some deep stuff now i don't really have a lot of deep snow here but that doesn't mean i can't make the snow deep you'll see what i mean in a moment trust me it gets good i love the sound of this engine you guys are gonna hear me put it through some heck in just a minute and she just it's a good feeling kind of kind of makes you tingle all over cranberry raspberry spin drift wouldn't rate this in my top five you guys are new to the channel almost every video we do a drink review sparkling water whatever usually sparkling water because that's what i drink and i have fallen in love with spin drifts they're the best so if you guys got a good drink recommendation something i could try i'm looking for it put it in the comments below now this unit does have hand warmers and they work really well plus they've got a plastic sheath guard over the engage levers so that those don't freeze your skin off all right guys we're going to take some of this snow and blow it onto the sledding hill which is pretty much just turned to an ice slick and kind of hurts like a dickens every time you go down it so maybe a little snow extra snow on it will help all right i'm gonna amp this up a little bit let's see if we can stack some snow up because we don't have very much to work with and then let's see what we can throw at this thing next [Music] so since we don't have deep snow we just got to make the snow we have be deep and actually this idea came from my buddy dan from tools in action [Music] there she be boys and girls there she be that's a pretty good sized pile of snow right there all right let's see if she'll blow her the sound of that was so beautiful we've got to hear it one more time that's what that chewed through right there that's what that just went through and that's ice that auger itself is so quiet that you just don't hear it outside of the noise of the engine so okay she took care of that like nothing that's pretty darn cool all right well you guys i'm gonna do a little bit more cleanup but it's getting late it's getting dark oh wait no it's not getting dark but it will be getting dark so that's our video for today hope you guys enjoyed it it was kind of a fun adventure discovering that efi machine one of the things that you guys didn't really get to see over the course of today's video was i started and stopped it this machine at least 15 times let's do it right now at least 15 to 20 times i'd stop it i would grab the cameras i would move the cameras part is part of the natural process i'm not leaving it running and every time this is what would happen it would beep once and it didn't matter if i had it idled all the way down or if i idle it up i turn it she does her little beep beep i reach down and it's as easy as that this thing starts every time i love this little beep beeps like r2d2 saying i'm ready to go to sometimes it's a challenge trying to come up with something when you don't have snow we've had the worst and the worst winter anyway it's been a bad winter anyway here's what we got cooking in the pipeline clean the lens off here we're going to be sam and i tonight we're going to go out we're going to test the manito skid loader we're going to be loading and hauling snow then we're just going to take it into a monster pile the biggest snow bank period and just see what we can do with it uh second thing we've got ice everywhere and the driveway here is sheer ice like inch and a half thick we're going to make a video on grinding uh gravel driveway grinding ice off a gravel driveway then we're getting together with zach mizek not minnesota millennial farmers act we're supposed to get together with him we haven't done that yet but my zach has the cheap chineseium chainsaws these are the steel and husqvarna knockoffs where they are so bold in their claims that they will tell you that their parts are interchangeable with both steel and husqvarna which almost makes you think they're probably made in the same factory but i can't confirm or deny that i just don't know we're going
