Contact Utility Locators (811)

What happens here

Before any excavation begins, contact 811 (or your local 'Call Before You Dig' service) to have all existing underground utilities marked. This crucial step prevents accidental damage to water lines, gas lines, communication cables (like the Spectrum internet cable mentioned in the video), and existing power lines. The utility companies will send out technicians to mark their lines with colored flags or paint.
