Pinhole Leak Flooded the Basement!
What happens here
The existing hole in the concrete foundation, originally sized for the old galvanized pipe, needs to be enlarged to accommodate the new frost-free hose bib, which has a larger diameter due to its internal valve mechanism. A Milwaukee hammer drill with a 1-inch concrete drill bit is used to carefully widen the opening, ensuring there's enough clearance for the pipe wrap and to prevent the hose bib from touching the concrete directly.
Goal: Create an adequately sized and protected opening in the concrete wall.
