Pinhole Leak Flooded the Basement!

What happens here

An MIP (Male Iron Pipe) by PEX adapter is prepared by applying Blue Monster thread seal tape (3 wraps) and Hercules MegaLock Multi-Purpose Thread Sealant to its threaded end. This adapter is then threaded into the new internal quarter-turn ball valve and tightened using a Knipex Pliers Wrench and Knipex Cobra Pliers. Next, PEX-B pipe is measured and cut to the correct length using a ratcheting cutter. The PEX pipe is then connected to the PEX adapter and the PEX connection on the new hose bib using stainless steel PEX clamps, which are securely crimped with a PEX crimping tool. The crimping tool indicates when the connection is properly made.

Goal: Create a secure and leak-free PEX connection from the internal valve to the new hose bib.
