My Fourth Race EVER in Vintage NASCAR Monte Carlo! Things Get Crazy...

What happens here

The driver discusses the challenges of his race day, citing a lack of preparation due to moving and the difficulty of racing with oil on the track. He mentions the competition cautions, which he dislikes for breaking up the racing flow. He describes the racing as 'rolling chess,' where he had to outsmart opponents due to a slower car. He laments missing an opportunity to pass due to caution, and confirms the oil spill was from the #5 car, which retired early. The race ended with him in P7 after a competition caution at lap 50. He concludes that the race was a 'war of attrition' but he learned a lot.

Goal: Evaluate race performance and plan for future improvements

feel it that much, but you can. Well, you know, with all of our moving and stuff going on, I haven't had time to do very much of anything else other than working and moving stuff around. Once we get a little more settled in, I'm excited to figure out wherever we put Logan's PS5 and fire up Project Motor Racing, which is today's video sponsor. And I got to say, this thing looks pretty interesting. It was just released a couple days ago. Project Motor Racing captures the challenge, intensity, and sensory overload of professional level race cars with uncompromising passion of big-time motorsport. The game blends 20 years worth of racing simulator know-how into one unforgettable racing experience. Compete on 28 scanned recreations of the world's most celebrated circuits in single player career and online racing modes. With a new physics engine that delivers unmatched realism, every car's handling has been painstakingly tested and approved by hundreds of the world's top racing pros to asssure authentic levels of handling precision. Project Motor Racing is available now at major retail stores including Amazon, Walmart, Target, GameStop, and Best Buy. Again, if you know racing, you know that sponsors keep race cars on the track. And we appreciate Project Motor Racing for sponsoring today's video. If you'd like to give it a shot or need a good holiday gift, you check the link in the description or go to one of those stores I just told you about. And all of these conflicting circumstances have my brain all over the place. I don't know if my car is actually not handling well because of the tire pressure, the extra fuel or whatever, or if it's been driving over a misted oil surface the whole freaking time because it got bad enough to where they had to throw a caution and everybody went and it was the same car that uh had been questionable before. It's getting to the point in the race now where I could start racing. I'd like to, but the car is just not there yet. It's not gripped up going into the turns. And if you have driven something like this, you know what I'm talking about where the car is got it sinks into the racetrack. It's cutting in good. It feels like it's in the racetrack and not on top of the surface. Very much like the difference of running through grass with cleats versus regular shoes. If you have never driven one of these cars before, that's something I could relate it to. You know, when your feet are not underneath you, and that's what I was feeling…
