Spray Paint and Remove Masking (Hand Masker Method)

What happens here

With the 9-inch paper and 1-inch tape securely tucked, you can now proceed to spray paint the baseboards. Once painting is complete, immediately remove the masking paper and tape while the paint is still wet. This critical step prevents 'paint bridging,' where the paint dries and bonds the masking to the trim, leading to peeling or chipping when removed. As the masking is pulled away, the carpet pile will naturally spring back and cover the bottom portion of the baseboard, creating a clean and professional finish without any visible paint lines on the carpet.
