What happens here
To automate your chicken waterer system, install a float valve into a large water reservoir, such as a 55-gallon barrel or a large 7-gallon bucket. The float valve works much like the mechanism in a toilet tank, opening to refill when the water level drops and closing when it reaches the set level. Connect this float valve to a continuous water source, such as a garden hose, a rain barrel, or a well pump. Run a PVC pipe from the bottom of this reservoir to your selected chicken waterer systems (nipples, cups, or trough). Ensure all pipe connections are sealed with PVC cement and threaded connections use Teflon tape to prevent leaks. This setup ensures a constant, automatic water supply for your flock.
Goal: Automate water refilling for the chicken waterer systems.
