Create PVC J-Trap Waterer

What happens here

A simple PVC J-trap waterer can be constructed using a vertical length of 4-inch PVC pipe. At the bottom of this pipe, attach a 4-inch PVC J-trap (U-bend) using PVC cement to create a small water basin accessible to chickens. This design keeps a small amount of water visible and easily reachable. For maintenance, a removable end cap can be fitted at the lowest point of the J-trap to allow for easy draining and cleaning of the system.

Goal: Provide a water source with a simple, cleanable J-trap design.
