Awesome Tractor Multi Tool that can pick up the bales...and pull the wagon!

hey there folks this is Josh Stoney Ridge farmer welcome back to another beautiful day here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina today we're going to be working with our John Deere 50 65 tractor and we're just going to be gathering up the hay bales that we bailed the other day now we bailed hay on about 12 acres or so maybe 13 acres and we got about seven bales out of it one bale caught on fire and the baler caught on fire so we've still got repairs to do there but today we're going to have some fun on the John Deere tractor I'm going to show you a pretty cool tool it's called the transformer it goes on the back of your tractor you can pick up hay bales with it you can move trailers with it you can move a gooseneck trailer with it awesome little attachment we're going to show you how it works we're gonna get to work picking up our hay bales and have a little bit of fun here on the farm alright [Music] okay folks so before we even get started talking about this tool right here look behind me man we got a lot more fence to build here on the farm and I got a little secret for you our post pounder is coming in next week so we can get started on the fencing coupon code this thing does a whole lot of things in one so if you're out in the field and you're picking up your hay bales and you're putting them on your flatbed trailer or your gooseneck trailer right here is your gooseneck ball so your gooseneck ball goes right into the transformer just like so and you can move your gooseneck trailer across the farm or wherever you need to without having to have that truck over there now I've got this receiver stuck on the end of the hay spear it also has a 2-inch receiver down here for pulling things like trailers and or your hay wagon so we'll slide this guy in here actually I'm going to flip it over slide this guy in here and now we've got a way of moving our hay hauling equipment so we can hook up to our gooseneck trailer which we won't be doing today and or we can hook up to our hay wagon and pull our hay over here so my plan is to put six bales on the hay wagon and tow the hay wagon over here with this guy hopefully the hay spear doesn't get in the way of the trailer now you can always buy an extension to bring this guy all the way out to about right here and that way you'll never ever have to worry about the haste bike getting in the way but we've got a pretty long tongue on our hay trailer I think we'll be just fine let's get busy so this is the hay spear for the front of the tractor and it mounts up with the quick attach type skid loader type hookup so in other words it just hooks right up here we throw two levers down and we can take our bucket off of our tractor and hook this guy up it's got three tines on it just like the one on the rear and we'll be picking up one hay bale at the front and one hay bale with the rear and we'll set up on the trailer or we'll haul back over here to where we're gonna stack our hay now we're just going to stack our hay we only have 6 bales it definitely doesn't justify building a barn our cattle are going to be out here in this pasture right here and we're just going to stack our hay right in the corner kind of out of the way good stuff it's going to get wet it already got rained on and we can't put it in the barn and stack it if it's gotten rained on because it may catch fire so if you're bailing hay and you want to get it out of the field and into the barn before it gets wet big big no-no sticking wet hay inside your barn and a big no-no keeping your equipment inside the same barn that you keep your hay you don't want that stuff to burn up in hay barns catch on fire contact John Deere 5065 [Music] okay now this is our hay wagon right up like so that is a question is too long to pull a hay wagon and a wagon on here we'll drop it right smack in the middle of all these [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] receiver off while we use this apparatus right here to pick up hay bales and I picked up a couple I really didn't need to pick up the same to show you how easy it works and how good it works and when it comes to feeding our cattle we won't have to keep the hay spear on the front of the tractor all the time you can hit this guy you can use it for multiple purposes that's what this is all about let's hook it up the whole idea here is that you're not hooking and unhooking three point attachments and buckets and all that stuff back and forth so I don't have to use my gaiter to pull this thing over it's all included ready to rock and roll now we're going to cross our fingers not strap the bales down and go off down that hill over there [Music] [Applause] well we got the hay up we got the hay up off the ground moved over here to the area where we're gonna have our cattle first so we're gonna have our cows in this past year first right now we only have two pastures the one that we were in where the hay was and this one right here that's up behind the house so the transformer did its job it did a great job we pulled the trailer over here with the hay spike which is something I bet you've never seen pulling a trailer with a hey spike good stuff the hay wagon did absolutely awesome everything worked great SuperDuper happy guys so thanks a lot for joining me here on the farm today this is a
