What happens here
Open the box containing the new Drummond 1/4 HP submersible sump pump. Take out the pump unit and any included accessories. Apply Teflon tape around the threaded discharge port of the new sump pump. Wrap the tape clockwise a few times to ensure a secure and watertight seal when the discharge pipe is attached. Using a Milwaukee Packout knee pad for comfort is recommended while working on the floor.
Goal: Unbox the new sump pump and prepare its discharge port by applying Teflon tape to ensure a watertight seal for the pipe connection.
